In the continued development of our biopharmaceutical product portfolio, HUYA is seeking a self-motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment as a member of our rapidly growing team.
The successful candidate will be capable of critically analyzing and accurately summarizing a wide range of preclinical and clinical data in the area of CNS/neurology, evaluating programs for scientific merit and competitive advantage, managing preclinical and early clinical development programs, as well as interacting with Chinese and western pharmaceutical partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee evaluation, prioritization, tracking, and follow-up of new and existing opportunities from China
- Identify in-licensing opportunities for internal development and presentation to partners
- Perform detailed due diligence on top portfolio compounds
- Run the team responsible for the preclinical and clinical development of novel neurological therapeutics
The position requires a Ph.D., M.D. or Pharm.D. degree with at least ten years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in multiple CNS/neurology indications (e.g. psychiatric disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, pain), as well as in depth knowledge of the R & D landscape, including development and regulatory requirements in this area.
The candidate must possess excellent written/verbal English communication skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced and highly team-oriented environment. Fluency in written and oral Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
The position is full-time and the candidate must be within commuting distance to HUYA's San Diego, CA headquarters.
