Dr. Shun Lu is a professor at Shanghai Chest Hospital, Jiao Tong University and Chief of Shanghai Lung Cancer Center. He studies novel targeted agents and immunotherapy drugs and has expertise in lung and other thoracic tumors. He also severs as a principle investigator (PI) or co-PI of many international clinical trials. Dr. Lu received his MD from Shanghai Medical University and PhD from Second Military Medical University, Shanghai, China. He completed his Fellowship of Clinical Oncology at Tel Aviv University, Israel and was invited to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, USA as a Visiting Professor. Dr. Lu has published more than 200 peer reviewed papers in premier journals including Journal of Clinical Oncology, PNAS, Clinical Cancer Research, etc. He has received many awards and Chinese national grants, e.g., from the Major National S&T Projects, National Program on Key Basic Research Project, and National Natural Science Foundation. Dr. Lu is a committee member of numerous associations and societies, including the associate editor of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology (JTO), the Journal of Lung Cancer and the editorial board of The Oncologist. He serves as a member of the Expert Panel of the China Food and Drug Administration, Commissioner of Oncology Society Chinese Medical Association, Director of Chinese Lung Cancer Study Association, Standing Director of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology, and Director of Oncology Society Chinese Medical Association Shanghai Branch.
